Maitreya are currently focusing on their upcoming second release. Approximately 10 new songs are being arranged at the moment and the recordingsessions will take place at the same studio as their debute album "New world prophecy" were recorded, also with Johan "Goomba" Nilsson behind the machines.

The material that we're focusing on are a bit more aggressive than the debute and we are really looking forward to this release. It feels like the new material is the best we have ever achieved together through Martin and my (more than a decade) long companionship as musicians. The title for this project is called "GEMINI", and it could probably be the album title for it eventually.

We will keep a studio diary with video-material right here on this spot as soon as we start, for you to be updated on the recording-sessions.

The drumsessions on this recording will be done together with the new "Los Sin Nombre" album. Martin and myself are going to co-produce/co-write their new full length album and because I am going to do the drum-works for both albums, planned at the same studio at the same time, it would be convenient to do the drumsessions at the same time, though with some differences in sounds etc.
